“We have gone to the Mansion about 10 times over the past 4 years since moving here. The owners are the type of people that bend over backwards to make the people comfortable and have the best event day possible. I am amazed each time I enter the Mansion to see the beautiful columns, spiral stair case, marble flooring, and the bathrooms are GORGEOUS with marble floors and wood carved doors with a plush seat to rest on. Every area of this place is stunning and intriguing. That’s why the NFL has their Heisman house commercials here with the football players because it is that amazing!”
“Amazing venue and wonderful staff! My husband and I got married at the mansion back in November and it totally exceeded our expectations! The venue is gorgeous and has some amazing views — we decided to go out to the 15th hole to take some pictures at the last minute and I’m so glad we did because they turned out AMAZING! Everything was so beautiful and the whole event went off without a hitch thanks to Julie, Bobby, and the rest of the wonderful staff at the mansion! They made some great recommendations for vendors and helped us walk through our ideas for decorating the mansion... it really made that part of the planning process seem so much easier! Julie worked tirelessly with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding to get the tables/seating EXACTLY how I wanted so we could maximize the space and seat all of our guests downstairs. They were so accommodating and even allowed us to come a day early to start setting up so we didn’t have to worry about it all on the day of, which was a HUGE relief! It was also super convenient being able to rent the cottages on-site so our wedding party could stay close by and continue the celebration after the reception ended! Our day truly felt like a dream and I’m still amazed and so grateful that everything went so smoothly! I highly recommend this venue — you can’t beat the views or the people!”

“My wife and i got married here at the end of February on a Saturday (leap year!) and while this phrase is often over used, i can promise it fits the occasion: it was perfect. we had planned it out for about a year and from all the vendors who we found (catering, video, photo) to the ones Julie recommended (DJ, bartenders) were just awesome. both Julie and Bobby really are the best. they were always on-point with meeting prior to the big day, getting access, day-of (thankfully weather was beautiful) into the evening, and even the next day helping make sure we left with all our belongings. the venue space itself is such a great find and getting married out on the back area overlooking the hill country.. again - it was all we could have asked for. the cottages were a huge plus as well since we had so many people coming from out of town and wanted to keep people central to one area for the days leading up. they’re like basic hotel rooms that back up to the golf course and we put on an after-party down there after our wedding. i can’t recommend both the venue and Julie + Bobby highly enough. meet them once and visit it and you will understand.”

“One sentence could sum up this review: YOU NEED TO GET MARRIED AT THE MANSION AT COLOVISTA. I’ll expand of this sentence though; My husband and I used The Mansion for our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception, and couldn’t have been more satisfied. My husband and I got married during the biggest ice storm Texas has ever seen. On the morning of our wedding, almost every vendor cancelled, but Julie and Bob were there to help in any way. Not only did they cater to our every need, but they did so in a loving and helping way”

Guests can roam about the mansion in each unique room, upstairs or downstairs, or spend time on the lawn or in the front rose garden. It makes the whole wedding experience engaging for guests. The bridal suite, grooms quarters, cottages on site, golf course—there so many amenities the Mansion offers that make the weekend feel like a getaway for the bride and groom, bridal party and guests alike!
